Tai Chi at East West Connection

Tai Chi Ch'uan is an ancient system of Chinese exercise and has existed for some 2000 years. It is a slow moving health exercise that practiced regularly can help reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve muscle strength and definition, increase energy, stamina and agility. It is popular in America for its health benefits

Tai Chi is generally safe for people of all ages and fitness levels. Older adults may especially find it appealing because the movements are low impact and put minimal stress on muscles and joints. Each student works at their own level, gradually developing balance, coordination, reflexes, strength, energy and general good health

We teach the Yang style of Tai Chi as taught by the late Professor Cheng ManChing. Classes meet on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. or Sundays at 6:00 p.m.
